Never forget to put a flow in your writing; you have to make it in a sequential way for them not to be confused. My two year old always tries to help me when I’m writing screenplays. Sometimes she makes little ’script boo-boos’ on my hard copy screenplays. Spilled juice, crayon scrawls, and sneezes are just a few of the little errors she can make all over even the most polished draft.
She’s a good kid, though, and she’s always very repentent about her little boo-boos. Sorry, she says. Every time.
One day I was really frustrated about one of my screenplays. I just couldn’t get the ending right. My daughter came up and asked if there was a boo-boo on my script. I said, yeah, a pretty big one. My little girl immediately said she was sorry. No! I responded. It’s not your fault.
Well, she asked, how do we fix the boo-boo? I told her I’d call up for script analysis and they’d tell me how to heal my screenplay. Sure, she still spills her drinks on my pages, but they’re better for the notes I got.
